Description
On the side road off a South Carolina highway into Litchfield Beach, this beach house inhabitant suspended his flag from the corner of the roof, across the balcony and into the neighboring tree. I saw this on several annual visits. Thus, I was “The Visitor”. I had the notion at that time that one couldn’t properly be an American realist painter “for real” without at least one painting of our flag.
